Hi! I’m Chad and I’m the founder of Chad McDonald Design and Build. We are a bold new design studio striving to make ripples in home design. This studio’s objective is to bring a unique design language to the various scales of your home. I’m currently working towards a Masters of Architecture and it was during my school journey I realized the need for diversity in home design. That’s when I started my quest and found spaces in home design that could be further explored. My Architectural background has taught me the importance of artistic expression and meticulous craftsmanship as deep-rooted design values. Mixed with my teams “Passion for Design” we strive to bring diversity to your home.
Prior to establishing Chad McDonald Design and Build I spent five years exploring construction and design within the Greater Toronto Area. I worked as a Project Manager with multiple design and build establishments and took on various commissioned jobs. Having a Design and Construction background enhances our team’s ability to visualize a project from start to finish.
A guiding rule in founding this Studio was to be very hands-on and keeping a personal dialogue with each client and project. As the main designer, I enjoy the challenges of designing with different styles and scales, and bring the same level of enthusiasm to each project. I also strive to keep our relationship friendly, open and always professional.
